04 — METHODOLOGY
How we read
an address.
Perimtr matches an entered address against an available official address registry. The matched coordinates anchor the location-based queries in the report. If an address cannot be matched reliably, Perimtr does not present location-based results as though the match were certain.
Location-based data
Published records tied to a location and queried within the stated report radius around the address.
Boundary-based data
Published neighbourhood or ward information, always identified with the geography used by the source.
Most location-based sections are scoped to a 1,000m radius around the matched address. A report labels another scope—such as 250m, 500m, ward, or neighbourhood—where it applies.
